You're right. They were hugely influential on the next generation (or two) of bands. Just not enough folks bought the records, I guess. Too bad, I hated the whole Buster Poindexter thing. But got to see Johnny Thunders in Manhattan a million years ago.

there was a documentary that came out a couple years back when they played together again. The movie focuses on kane. And i also despised Buster, frikkin annoying, and in this movie he still seems like a doosh.

So ahead of their time, both in terms of electronic music and art direction. Another band that should have been huge.

Back in 1977, Pat Travers' captured in this record cover all I wanted to be in life, a successful rock 'n' roller with lots of Marshall stacks. Didn't work out completely, but the photo still gives me a wistful smile. Great concept.

Maiden is my favorite band. Seen them around 30 times going back to 1981.

I was a Pat Travers fan; Pat Thrall is very good as well. Les Dudek was in that group, and Garry Moore out of England.

    I had that album.

Classic West, Bruce & Laing record--Whatever Turns You On-- from 1973. The front and back covers are time pieces.

Cool link. I posted Kimono My House a few pages back. I loved Sparks back in the 70s. Glad someone else does, too.
