Just focusing on whiffs since 2006 -- the years Billy had the final say

X= no longer on the Pattycakes

NS = maybe still there but not starting or making any sort of significant impact

your 2009 list isn't the Pattycake draft list so I haven't copied it. To be fair I think it has more guys that made the roster than previous whiffs and one that is a good starter in Vollmer
    Fixed

It was refreshing to see a player reach for a helmet instead of just putting on a baseball hat when the pick was announced.

sorry, if they are NOT on your stinking cheating douchebag team, they rate an X

Unless Billy the Whiffer is drafting for OTHER TEAMS, other team's later success or non-success are FAILURES FOR BILLY THE WHIFFER AND HIS CHEATERS.

Look at all those studs the Patriots have drafted in recent years. Incredible talent. I'm counting 4 players that have been to pro-bowls. Zero perennial pro-bowlers.

Just an incredible job drafting Bill. I fear what you are going to do with your future picks that you have accumulated so many of. I'm sure many of those players were drafted as players of need. The problem is, you have to also pick up quality players when you pick up players of need... Bill hasn't solved that one yet.
Wow...now that's a heaping pile of compost. Without cheating no wonder the patriots haven't been successful lately.

What's funny is none of the Jet fans here can give a backround on ANY of the Patriot picks.....they don't even know when they're posting a compilation of picks from another team and not the Pats !

During those draft periods, how many AFCC and Lombardi's did the Patriots win?

THAT should be the criteria that a team is judged by.....Jets have outdrafted the Pats for a decade now and have nada to show for it......except a laydown invite to an 8-8 team for the post season.

Maybe this is the year...or the SOJ chant will be heard throughout the NFL....

or the team got lucky with a 6th round pick that they nearly cut in pre-season and lived off that one pick and video footage to win their super bowls. but yeah.....

Yep, all BB did was draft the most prolific TE in the history of the NFL.

    Way to go Billy.

I do have have to admit, I found the first page and a half of this thread PURE GOLD. I won't quote from a thread necro but a particular Pats fan was crucified on these pages for saying what a good pick it was while every knowledgable Jets fan called him an idiot. Priceless in hindsight.
