    Those picks were both wastes.

This draft might go down as one of the best for the Raiders

    Round 1 - Pick No. 8
LB Rolando McClain, Alabama- will be Starting MLB has been everything and more than advertised. His coverage which was suppose to be a weakness, has been one of his best qualities. Not as good yet as people thought but keeps getting better every single game. Its only matter of time with this guy.

    Round 2 - Pick No. 44
DT Lamarr Houston, Texas- Will be starting LDE. This guy brings an attitude to the defense and never stops hustling. Teams up with Matt Shaughnesssy to give the Raiders two bookend de's that are going to be a staple of Raiders Defense for the next decade. Both play the run as well as the pass equally well.

    Round 3 - Pick No. 69
OT Jared Veldheer, Hillsdale- Could be the starting Center and this guy has crazy athlethic ability. The sky is the limit just how good he can be. Update: Now the starting LT for the Raiders and has made a big diffrence. Will only get alot better with more experience. Raiders are looking for backup center because they don't plan on moving Veldheer anytime soon from Lt.

    Round 4 - Pick No. 106
OT Bruce Campbell, Maryland- extremely raw but has shown some great things at RG. Its all about being more consistant. Could be starting half way through the season at Rg. Mighyt eventually become the Rt. What a draft to get your two bookends in the same draft. (LT Veldheer and Rt Campbell) 3 and fourth rounders to boot.

    Round 4- Pick No. 108
WR Jacoby Ford, Clemson- THis guy is a football player and not a track guy trying to play football. Raiders got him coming out of his break alot faster than he did in college. He will play alot but is probably the fourth wr.

Don't blink or you might miss Jacoby Ford- hes that fast.

Round 5 - Pick No. 138DB Walter McFadden, Auburn- Very impressive in coverage. Probably not a starter but will be an excellent nickel CB. Mcfadden had hamstring issues and Jeremy ware has surpassed him on the depth chart . Raiders love both cb's ware and Mcfadden.

    Round 6 - Pick No. 190
LB Travis Goethel, Arizona St.- HAs to be one of the biggest supprises of training camp. Backup mlb . Hurt his back and just getting back. Could eventually get a look at Wlb.

    Round 7 - Pick No. 215
DB Jeremy Ware, Michigan St.-is their fourth CB. Smaller size Cb with very good cover skills.

    Round 7 - Pick No. 251
DB Stevie Brown, Michigan - key special teamer and reserve Safety with a nose for the football.

    Round 5 - Pick No. 138
DB Walter McFadden, Auburn- Very impressive in coverage. Probably not a starter but will be an excellent nickel CB. Solves a big problem as raiders have struggled alot with slot reciever as Routt is alot better outside than playing inside against slot reciever.

    Round 6 - Pick No. 190
LB Travis Goethel, Arizona St.- HAs to be one of the biggest supprises of training camp. Backup mlb and like MCClain his pass coverage has been real impressive(which is supprising since alot of people question if he would be able to hold up in coverage. His play just might push Thomas Howard off this roster.

    Round 7 - Pick No. 215
DB Jeremy Ware, Michigan St.- has a chance to make the roster . Defintely a candidate for practice squad(might need one more year)

    Round 7 - Pick No. 251
DB Stevie Brown, Michigan - very good chance to make their 53 man roster. Can do alot of things well.
