    Nick was friends with Faneca and was actually out to dinner with him and the wives when Faneca got the call. Sure he was disappointed.

    Not really a performance issue for the team though.

    He went through the same withdrawal after Pete Kendell was let go. It's part of the business and is something we all go through in our professional lives. He'll be fine.

    Wasn't Milloy cut with like 2 days to go before the start of the season?

    And didn't the Pats have a graet year that year regardless? (Other than their opening day slaughtering at the hands of Bufallo)
