    Brad Smith at Safety

I know its crazy, but wouldn't Brad Smith be a great safety? Look at him on special teams. Imagine him patrolling centerfield. Now you can't so that to the guy, he already has QB, WR, KR, Wildcat. But I'd bet he could be an all-pro at safety now if he started there as a rookie.

Hell, he could become a Hall of Fame safety if we move him now.

    Wow, GREAT idea.

Move Woodhead to OLB and we are SET.

No, more of an OLB too.

So Woodhead to NT, Sanchez to OLB.

    It a BINGO.

No. Woodhead should be Faneca's replacement at guard.

    What about McNight at CB?

Very fast, great ball catching skills, very elusive after the catch, he could return 5 or 6 INTs for TDs.

HE could be a pro-bowl CB if we moved him now.

Brad Smith is a hell of a special teams player/gunner.

Safety and Gunner are two totally diffrent positions, the only similarity is they both tackle, thats it.

Both positions need a nose for the ball, good tackling and covering ground quickly. Brad Smith has all of those skills.

Scott Frost was coverted to safety and didn't have half the skill that Smith has.
