    Strasburg's first game

Kid looks good. Only one inning, he fell behind a couple of batters and battled back...throwing 99, ridiculous movement on his ball, has a 1-0 lead going into the second.

Very exciting watching the Nats fans embracing this kid, must be such a cool feeling as a fan.

    Great baseball.

Wow....goes 3-0 on the first batter in the second, then three straight insane fastballs for strikes.

He just hit 100 on the gun.

Flipping between this and the Yankee game. What can you say? The kid is impressive. And Nats fans are (for good reason) very pumped up. Cheering at every strike. He just threw a filthy curve on his 3rd K of the game.

    2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 SO. 30 pitches, 18 strikes.

Looks like the real deal. Wow.

I know this will sound weird, but I envy the fans in the stands there...last place team, seeing some hope.

    We are spoiled.

It's official, this kid is the best young pitching prospect in the game today. Some of the best stuff I've ever seen. Fun to watch.

I could not agree more. I've been bored by the Yankees recently.

From the looks of it, he's gonna be better than David Price. Price can hit 99-100, but this kid's movement is insane.

This guy is amazing, his stuff is electric. Throwing 97-99 consistently, with the touch 100 and the movement and breaking balls he has.

Nat fans deserve this, something to look forward to with their team, just hope he doesn't blow his arm out.

Ok...he's getting touched a little now, a couple of singles, no outs...

Lets see what he's made of.

Looks great. I hate the fact that he is facing a lineup that has Lastings Milledge hitting 3rd

Just turned it on. Hitting 99 with ease is just something special to see. I wish he was actually playing against a real MLB team. I need to see when he's coming to Philly.

Really? I don't care that the pirates are't that good. He looks ridiculous right now.
