    Mets vs Nationals

wow, never seen this before...Mets just won the game on a K-Rod pickoff at second base. He failed to retire a batter, gave up 2 hits...& gets the save.

Niese pitched a great game, & is now 6-2 with a 3.71 ERA. He also drove in a run with a double...NL (real) baseball...gotta love it

The Yankees should have traded him three years ago when his "hype" was at an alltime high. But they didn't.

    Let's Go Mets!

well what do you expect? were not in a REAL league like the NL, we don't truly know how to handle our players. Mets are just an example of excellence

The DH does dumb down managerial strategy, thats for sure. I agree, it is alot easier to manage in the AL than the NL. So in that sense the NL is more "real" than the AL.

AL is a gimmick league...find any yankee fan that was a fan pre DH and they will tell you the same thing. its unfortunate that they decided to take such a big part of baseball strategy out of he game in the AL.

You guys are pretty pathetic. You turn a Mets thread into a pissing contest about the Yankees. All it took was 3 posts.

douche bag. at least Benitez used to blow people away in the regular season games before blowing it in the big games at the end of the season.

    K-Rod coming in now.

    Mets desperately need bullpen help.
