    Training camp help

Looking to spend some quality time with the kids. Thinking of heading up to Cortland for a day or two. Can you reccommend somewhere clean that has a decent pool. Also what else is there to do up there after camp is done for the day. Thanks for your help.

check out the Greek Peak package deals that JI sent around and is, I think, an ad on the home page....

Greek Peak is a ski resort in the winter and apparently they have an indoor water park and other activities for kids of all ages

Just booked a few days at that Greek Peek (Hope Lodge) so the wife and kid can stay there and I can go to TCamp....supposedly it's 10 min away from SUNY Cortland

The New York Jets will report to SUNY Cortland for training camp on Sunday, Aug. 1. The first practice will be held on Monday, Aug. 2, and will run through Aug. 20.

There is no admission charge to attend training camp. Practices are open to the public throughout the duration of camp. A $5 per day parking fee will be charged by SUNY Cortland.

An official schedule of events will be provided by the NY Jets. For more details, visit

booked the Country Inn and Suites for 8/8-8/10

If you use expedia, you can get a room for 101 per night (indoor pool, comp internet, comp continental breakfast) but it's non-refundable

Called the Jets and confirmed that the first practice is 8/3

also be aware that there will be no practices on the 8/15-17 with the first PS game in the Meadowlands on 8/16

Just off the phone with the Jets regarding the use of the Flight Crew for a charity wet t-shirt contest during training camp (Date to be announced soon on I also have a call in to the Mayor of Cortland and the SUNY Cortland President about using incoming college coeds and local high school seniors for the event. Either I, or Young MC, will host the gathering.
