yeah. I know what you mean. Look at it this way, after this series the furthest west the Yankees will have to travel is to Arlington,Texas to play the Rangers. Unless of course if they play the Rangers or the Angels in the postseason.

It still can't fathom Seattle's terribleness given their starting pitching.

    tonight's lineup as per lhblogs.com:

    Derek Jeter SS
    Nick Swisher RF
    Mark Teixeira 1B
    Alex Rodriguez DH
    Robinson Cano 2B
    Jorge Posada C
    Curtis Granderson CF
    Brett Gardner LF
    Ramiro Pena 3B

I would like to see the Yankees get some revenge on either Lee or Hernandez in this series.

    GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol, typical Andy flirting with disaster and not quite getting there.

We need to score some runs.

Andy's been flirting with disaster for 15 years....he gives up hits... but he's a bulldog.

And how good is Nick Swisher. Dude is hitting great and is playing a stellar RF

Nick Johnson is a joke, he had a setback with his wrist. What a loser that guy is, why the heck did Cashman have to bring a guy that can't stay healthy... He could of had Damon for the price he paid for Winn and Johnson who both were failures.

    Er....OK.

He's a loser because of an injury prone wrist.

I'll give you the knocks on Cashman though, Johnson was an open book injury wise, and he should have known how fragile he is.

Can Jeter get the ball in the air. Offense is sleep walking again, not good when Lee and Felix await

I can only speak for myself. The knock on this guy was fragility....for YEARS.

Big bat, high OBP, when healthy. Period.

Again, I'm not knocking Nick as a person, but as a commodity, he was an open book.

Thankyou Derek for the walk, not a slap shot to the infield.

    And I mean that.
