    This is me with Harold Mabern at the Village Vanguard about a month ago. He taught a jazz theory workshop when I was in high school. He said.."Son, put that electric bass down and play a real bass". I took his advice and studied string bass. He must be 80 now. GREAT session player on hundreds of albums.
