And then there's this MSG classic, one of my all-time faves. I often catch my wife around the house singing "and when I'm sad and lonely . . . . oh, oh, oh . . . who's gonna rock my nights away?" If she (a stereotypical current top-40 fan) finds the chorus catchy, I figured I had to post it in this thread.

I never heard Mama's Boys before. Nice gritty sound. As for Michael Schenker, I've been a fan since his days with UFO. This one should get your wife singing the chorus as well.

BTW, the other day, my wife is listening to Rush and tells me that after all these years of not getting their music (and me constantly playing and pushing it)--especially Geddy's vocals--she now really likes them. My work is done.

This is a real old light pop song but it does have a very catchy chorus.

And this one is pretty famous as well chorus wise.

Hey Borgo, it's been a while. Was just passing thru and found this thread.
My grandmother passed recently (great lady, she will be missed) and I just inherited her 1962 Hammond M100 and a Leslie 120. Finishing some wiring on the '120 tonight and then I'll start looking for charts to this tune...

Edit: Which reminds me, since the SB typically chooses old fat rockers, are enough of these guys still alive to do a halftime show?

Hey, what's up, Jerry? Great to see you on this side of the cosmos. I am very sorry to hear about your grandmother. Please accept my condolences.

Hammond with a Leslie cabinet, huh? Sweet deal, dude. Good luck getting it all together. I love the big, "swooshing" Leslie sound.

As for Boston, I think they tour with Mike Sweet, formerly of Stryper, on vocals. It was really sad how Brad Delp went out. They'd be awesome as a Super Bowl act.

Thanks very much, Stronso. I remember Tony Thompson's opening drum barrage stopping me in my tracks. That guy is missed. It's a pretty good version of the Marc classic as well. Great addition.

You reminded me of this Robert Palmer gem, which has a chorus that I wind up singing to death once I've heard it. "She's so fine, there's no telling where the money went..."

Posted this chestnut in another thread. I forgot how much I liked the ascending riff in the chorus (approx. 1:51), and Punky Meadows' solo (approx. 3:55).

Huge chorus and monster riff from Chicago rockers, Urge Overkill. Check out a great separated at birth: Singer/guitarist Nash Kato is the spitting image of a young Christopher Walken. Also, how cute is the Latina chick in her jean cutoffs?

Alter Bridge has really captured my attention. These guys, and especially Myles Kennedy, kick butt in a live setting. Big chorus at approx. :59.
