Shortly after the recent announcement that "Saturday Night Live" actor Fred Armisen split with his wife of 10 months, "Mad Men" star Elisabeth Moss, now comes news that the funnyman has already moved on.
Armisen, who called it quits with Moss in May, is now dating his "SNL" co-star Abby Elliott, Life & Style reports.
"They've known each other for a few years from being on 'SNL' together but after the split, Fred sought comfort in Abby," a source told the mag, adding that the new couple began dating "a few months ago."
Armisen, 43, has been a cast member on "SNL" since 2002, while Elliott, 23, joined the sketch comedy show in 2008.
"Fred and Abby are getting to know each other in a romantic way and taking things slowly," added the insider. "They're enjoying each other's company."
In October 2009, Armisen exchanged vows with Moss, 28, in front of family and friends at The Foundry in Long Island City. After rumors that the under-the-radar couple had begun dating in early January of that same year, the actress soon revealed they were engaged.
While Armisen is currently filming his new series "Portlandia" in Portland, Ore., Moss has reportedly been "spending quiet time with friends" in Los Angeles, where she films "Mad Men."
However, according to Life & Style, Moss isn't shedding any tears over her failed marriage.
"Elisabeth is doing great and focused on 'Mad Men' and is enjoying the single life," the actress' friend told the mag. "This news won't even faze her."
