Jarron Gilbert on the bubble

Everyone's draft day darling from last year could be cut.

There's talk of the Bears stashing him on the practice squad. Just seen it on ESPNEWS.

Heard this, too.. I'd sign him in a second, especially with Pitoitua hurt. He'd fit well in our scheme.

Doesn't he have to pass through waivers first?? Then the bad teams have a shot at him first..

Well that's surprising, I seriously thought he would go on to have a decent NFL career...he was the darling of many on this forum.

When a player goes on waviers any team from the worst team on gets a shot at him first.. If no one picks him he's a free agent and can go work at Mickey D's..

That can't be. I mean, did they even see this video?

I would rather see Rod Wright replace Pati.

Take a close look at the lower right portion of the screen.
Notice the blast of water that happens near his feet.

I like the guy too but I have not seen him do a thing this preseason yet. I sure hope he turns it on.

ditto here....in fact he had a terrific senior season at SJSU so there was reason to believe he would be a good NFLer...

he's not lived up to expectations but you've also got to wonder what's gone on in Chicago since they lost the SB...the organization from top to bottom has been awful...

That kind of sucks it's not first come first serve on the waivers... So every team has to say no up until it's our turn?

The big question is do we have swimming pools at the training complex? If we could pair him up with Walter Thomas we'd have something!

At least Tadisch's YouTube highlight actually happened on the field.

Albeit the arena field.

With our current DE depth, I'd take any half decent ~300 pound body.

I never got on the Gilbert train like some posters did, but worth a shot.

If you have to ask, it means you don't understand how this works. :D
