2-2 if we're lucky. The heartless Burnett in there scares me

If he can't beat a weak hitting lineup like the A's then he can't beat anyone.

Man, this YES crew of Kay, Flaherty and Tino is brutal. Tino and Flaherty just don't talk enough. It feels like Kay is talking to himself. Gimme Singleton, Lieter, and Kay for every game.

Eh Leiter can be a ***** sometimes, I enjoy O'Neill much more, just for the amusement of it.

Nice to have a laugher...Thames is on fire..I am worried about Jeter, he can't have gotten so bad in just a year something has to be wrong injury wise...

Why not? He's 37 now. Just look at Jeter's #1 comparable - Barry Larkin.

    Barry Larkin's 35 year old season: .293/.390/.420 (103 OPS+)
    36 year old season: .313/.389/.487 (118 OPS+)
    37 year old season: .256/.373/.372 (90)
    38 year old season: .245/.305/.367 (74)

    Jeter's 34/35 year old season: .300/.363/.408 (102)
    35/36 year old season: .334/.406/.465 (132)
    36/37 year old season: .268/.333/.378 (96)

Before steroids this was about the age that players careers start to end. Saying that, I wouldn't be surprised if Jeter's a bit banged up - but that is probably also the norm for a player as he gets older as you are more susceptible to getting banged up as you get older. Also, I could see Jeter having been somewhat unlucky with the balls he's putting in play this year, while he was a bit lucky last year. (This year he's hitting .300 with BABIP with a career .356 mark).

I am going to the game tomorrow night and when I saw that Burnett was pitching, I cringed. He's been awful.

The Yankee bats are coming alive for the last 30 games of the reg. season.

I'd rather pour battery acid in my eyes as I am raped by a Horse, than watch Burnett pitch.

Man if the bats finally come alive for the rest of the year it will be just in the nick of time with the staff as shaky as it is right now..

    Thames DH
    Kearns LF

Good AJ better show up tonight. If he gets bombed by this weak hitting A's lineup then he's absolutely useless.
Also Albaladejo P, Chad Moeller C and Greg Golson OF have been called up. Sorry Jesus. You'll be on the team next year.
Oh and ladies and gentlemen......Fat Elvis is in the building.

We Play Today, We Win Today.......Das It!!!!!!!
