    I'm worried about me too.

This situation has just gotten to the height of ridularity (combination ridiculous + insanity). It was interesting in July, it became a concern in early August, it became a problem when preseason games started and now we're a week away from starting the season and this guy has pushed the situation far enough - he's no longer just negotiating to get the huge offer the Jets have given him turned into a GIGANTIC one, he's jeopardizing the season because he hasn't practiced a single snap with this team. That's the problem I have right now. He will not be game ready in Week 1 even if he comes back.

Is he even counting as a roster spot right now? I mean that's where we're at, we're potentially cutting promising players because this fool is sitting on the shelf in an uncertain status. When it was affecting our Cap or creating a news story....big deal. But I fear this tomfoolery is now impacting team decisions and the structure of our roster. It's not just about one guy.

Please tell me this is a joke and that you would never in a million years waste your extremely valuable time writing an article on Darrelle?

At this point Fredo is dead to me & now I have to turn my back on him. Time to worry about the other 53 soliders that are going to march downfield for the next twenty weeks.

I don't like that monster cap figure. The team has to be in good shape with the cap. Let him rot.

Only 16 million? Are you trying to slap him in the face?

    "How dare you insult Darrelle!"

Well...of course we'd guarantee 40mm more even in the event of injury.

It was common knowledge that Revis wasn't going to play for $1 million this year.

So common that the Jets have offered him 2 different type of deals (long & short) which would boost his 2010 salary way above $1 million.

    O-V-E-R it.

After he misses a few games, his image will be completely tarnished by many of us fans. I dont think he is ever going to get that back, and frankly, i dont think he could care less.

He may game ready, but he wont be playing unless he gets what he wants.

I have a 3 y/o who is great at working this strategy for granola bars, and yogurt covered raisins.

But even a 3 year old eventually stops whining! Not so with Revis.
