    Week 1, A to Z

A is for Abysmal, the only word to describe the offense
B is for Blocking, which we didn't get from Slauson
    C is for Check-downs, which should be a last-resort, not a staple
D is for Darrelle, the only d-back who showed up
E is for Edwards and his two crushing penalties
F is for Fail, which goes to Schotty's play calling
G is for Gholston remaining on the sackless list
H is for Holding, which we appear to be very good at
J is for Jenkins -- enjoy your retirement big guy, we love you
K is for Keller? Keller? Keller? (famous line from Dustin Keller's Day Off)
L is for Losing on national TV
    M is for Mark Sanchez
N is for Nothing, which we got out of M
O is for Out of bounds before the first down marker (perfect ending)
P is for Punting -- our best offensive weapon of the night
Q is for "Quiet, Offense at Work" -- which would be more appropriate if the comma was removed
R is for Rex's bounced check
S is for SOJ, which applies until proven otherwise
T is for Turnovers -- gotta turn 'em into points
    U is for Underachieving
    V is for Vanilla offense
W is for Wilson, who was schooled
X is for Xanadu, which looked better than that debacle last night
Y is for Yellow, as in "it appears to be raining yellow flags"
Z is for Zebra, as in "it appears those zebras really enjoy throwing those yellow flags"

Very clever and unfortunately true post.

We all should have prepared ourselves for this. Until this team is holding the Lombardi trophy, they will always be the Same Old Jets.

BUTTT... I still believe Rex has the team headed in the right direction and will get things going in Week 2. If they can come out strong against NE at home, we can forget Week 1 quickly.

Next week is going to be tough to watch. I think this team can have a solid season, but unfortunately it's going to be after a slow start in the first quarter of the schedule.
