Dierdorf brought up something interesting today...

    Shocking right? Just kidding.

Anyway, he was saying how in his meeting with LT and Greg Gumbel last night, Tomlinson told them that Sanchez was further along in his development than both Brees and Rivers were at this point in their careers. Think about that. Two top five QBs right now in the league. Says something about Mark; the whole team is believing in him at this point. Not one person on this team worked harder than him this whole offseason trying to learn the offense. Still 23 years young with the world ahead of him. One day, I hope he can be with the Riverses and Breeses of the world. I think he will be.

Mark Sanchez's future is incredibly bright.

The sky is the limit for this kid.

Jamie Dukes said he was 25 or 26... so he's not that young. :D

However, the statement made is pretty true considering Drew Brees sucked balls for 3 years and Phillip Tard Rivers didn't even start till his 3rd year. Now if he meant it as that Sanchez is better than Rivers was by his 20ish start then yes that's actually a pretty interesting quote.

Here's to hoping he ends up better than the both of them.

Dilldorf also said today that Donte Whitner is one of the best tackling safeties in the league.

I wonder if he found his jockstrap after Tomlinson broke his ankles.

I'm trying to figure out what you mean by this post... Brees and Rivers aren't even on there, AND it's not Sanchez's rookie year.

0 for 2. what's your third pitch going to be like???

Why don't you post a list of QBs with passer ratings over 105 in their second year? (I'll give you a hint, Brady isn't on it)

I'm just stating the facts, your going off an opinion which doens't make any sense, cuz breez and rivers were on the bench at that stage in their careers.

Id always take these things with a grain of salt, though I would think what LT would be getting at is the command of the team Sanchez has as a 2nd year guy. I think Brees was a second year guy and Rivers was 3rd year guy.

Since Mark Sanchez will be on that list, I'm not that worried.

(And in Tom Brady's second year starting he missed the playoffs)
