Who to root for tonight? (POLL ADDED)

Honestly, I hat the Patriots and the Dolphins equally. And while in the recent past, it usually would have been clear that a Patriots loss helped the Jets more (because they were the dominant team in the division), that's not neccessarily true anymore. So, I'm really on the fence.

So, I'm interested to hear who people on this board will be rooting for ... and mostly, I'm interested to hear WHY.

I want to win the division so I want the Dolphins to win.

Miami is more likely to lose games going forward than the Pats. And that is simply because the Pats have Brady. I just believe the Fins will find a way to lose some games going forward.

The obvious answer is to root for the team you are less afraid of, and less concerned will come back and challenge us for the division.

I'm far more worried that Belichick will solve the Pats defensive woes and they'll start stringing together some wins -- plus our next game with them is in Foxboro.

The Fins, IMO, are good but not as good as we are in any respect. I hope they take it tonight.

Sorry, I have to go with NE on this one. I still despise the Fins MORE than I do NE. I guess I see NE as the weaker of the two. I want Miami buried by mid-season because there were actually (and still are) people that picked them to win the AFCE :steamin:

+1...

Plus I dont hate Henne yet, and I've come to cherish Belichicks insolent petty post loss antics..he should be particularly dooshy following the Jets beating Buffalo so convincingly. His protege in dooshyness, Marcia Brady, should be fun to watch as well, doing the jog of shame off the field.

I am hoping for Miami to win tonight as they are less of a threat to win the division IMO than the Patriots are.

Plus living in New England can be rough at times as a Jets fan (especially the last decade or so) and it is always nice when we beat them or are ahead of them in the standings.

Pats are just not good. This is not even close to the same team. Forget about the past. The Patriots can't run and their D is just not that good.

The Jets and Miami will both finish with better records than the Pats this year.

You root against the better all around team.

GO PATS!

How is this even a question? Both are hated divisional rivals, a Tie would be best outcome ;)

But really. We talking about the Patriots here and their reign over our division. Squash the Pats. The phish don't have the endurance to be a late season threat.

can't stand neither but I'm going with the Fins for a few reasons:

a) my older brother is a fish fan *i know*
b) It would be funny to see the Patriots finish 3rd and after a decade, I'm sick of this ****ing team.

Definitely the Fins......

1) I definitely despise the individuals on the Pats more than anyone on the Fins

2) As noted, we still go to Foxboro and host Miami

3) We're best served by 2 ties or more likely a split between NE & Mia......if the Pats get the road win they'll be a whole lot more likely to sweep when they rematch at home.

4) I have a personal bet w/ a Pats fan that the Jets end up w/ more Ws in the regular season.....the stakes: cooking dinner for the other in the victors jersey; and intentional damage to the jersey is not allowed
