FLORHAM PARK, NJ – According to a report from the Newark-Star Ledger, the New York Jets have released wide receivers David Clowney and Patrick Turner on Monday. The move is believed to make room for the return of Calvin Pace and Santonio Holmes.
Holmes was suspended for the first four games of the season after violating the league's substance abuse policy. He will only add to what is a soaring Jets offensive attack. The Super Bowl XLIII MVP had 79 receptions for 1,279 yards and five touchdowns last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
