What is the Jets Gameplan against the Vikings?

    For the Jets:

    Offense:

    - screen plays ... DE's are pass rush heavy and i think we can catch them 2 or 3 times for big gains if the play is done right.

    - try to establish some run so u can sprinkle in Play action on those over aggresive linebackers ...

    - take at least 2 deep shots down field with them and whoever lito is on .... get him the ball if its one on one! we know what lito is not good at and we should attack that boy

    Defense:

    - Shutting down the running game is main priority

    - Watch those quick reverses with Harvin and those quick receiver screens they like to do

    - put pressure on favre we all know how he likes to force the ball ... take away the TE's so he has to force the ball towards the outside and maybe we can create some turn overs ...get pace and JT coming off those edges on 1 on 1 situations .. keep 1 blitz guy out of there to help cover and let those guys do what they do to get to the qb

    - Help out kyle wilson ... yeah he's made mistakes but lets face it... give him a bit of safety help ... u cant have him matched up against harvin or somebody 1 on 1 in his 5th game and say "why did he get beat" ... vikes are looking at wilson film and are gonna try and attack him all day and favre will force that ball in there we all know it

what would your game plan be? .. aside from "just win the game"

Pass around pix of Favre's junk to all his teammates during warmups; hilarity (and projectile vomiting) ensues.

I think the Air Raid Siren should do the trick.

This is an awesome matchup. Minnesota still has the best defensive line in football. The Williams-Wall will be tough to run on. With that said I have complete faith in Mangold and Co.

Damn straight! Set up a 3 WR stack....no, 4 WR stack w/ DK, slip Holmes behind it, let our blocking WRs spring that ****!

Absolutely cannot be intimidated by a quality run D, we have a quality O-line, it might not be as effective as it has been, but it will pay off on at least a few runs/PA

Again, gotta keep it balanced and stretched. If we don't throw it downfield because they run a Tampa 2, we're absolutely underperforming.

Its just about the only thing to do, Favre can't do **** against our secondary, not w/ those weapons....AD will get 30 touches and will get his, but he must be contained.....eventually the ball will wind up in Favre's hands, until a LB to be determined gets to him and ends his career.

    [QUOTE=LadainianIMnotDONE;3766713]

Most team have fits watching out for this, the Jets have DAREELLLLLE REEEEVIIIIIIIIIS!!! He's so valuable because he doesn't just lock himself to his assignments hip in coverage, he also blows up every block he sees and owns his edge against runs/screens.

Its gonna be tough to consistently do both of these things, but Favre hasn't looked balanced on a throw all season; he needs to continue to feel pressure, I think Wilson is a nice matchup against Berrien, who can only run and not actually play receiver. I'd hate to see him against Camarillo or Shiancoe....those guys can plain out technique the kid.

Balanced offense, quality STs, don't let AD beat you on a screen....game over Jets WIN 24-10

    Shut down Peterson.

Get to Favre on 3rd down.

Pound LT/Greene to open up the Viking secondary.

    Attack Lito Sheppard.
