http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings?year=2010&week=5

1 (1) Steelers 3-1-0 QB Ben Roethlisberger is back from suspension, making Pittsburgh one of the NFL's most complete teams. (Walker)

2 (2) Saints 3-1-0 Brees completing 73.8 percent of passes, but offense not close to top form. (Sando)

3 (4) Packers 3-1-0 Should turnovers and sloppy play the past two weeks be a cause for concern? (Walker)

4 (7) Jets 3-1-0 As good as the Jets' offense has been the past three weeks, it will get even better with the debut of Santonio Holmes. (Clayton)

5 (5) Falcons 3-1-0 Late-game experiences against Saints, 49ers could signify a team on its way. (Sando)

6 (8) Ravens 3-1-0 QB Joe Flacco came of age in beating Pittsburgh. (Walker)

7 (9) Texans 3-1-0 Return of Brian Cushing will spark defense. (Kuharsky)

8 (10) Patriots 3-1-0 Bill Belichick may be struggling with his defense, but he has no concerns about the offense and special teams. (Clayton)

9 (3) Colts 2-2-0 Giveaways in red zone were killer in Jacksonville. (Kuharsky)

10 (15) Chiefs 3-0-0 Will extra prep time pay off against Peyton Manning? (Kuharsky)

11 (6) Bears 3-1-0 The offensive linemen should donate their checks to charity this week. (Walker)

12 (18) Chargers 2-2-0 Few teams will provide as little resistance as Cardinals. (Kuharsky)

13 (11) Dolphins 2-2-0 The loss of two home games in the division could doom the Dolphins into another third-place finish in the AFC East. (Clayton)

14 (16) Cowboys 1-2-0 Even though the Cowboys are 1-2, they still look like the best team in the NFC East. (Clayton)

15 (17) Vikings 1-2-0 Is the early bye good or bad for the veteran Vikings? (Walker)

16 (21) Redskins 2-2-0 Donovan McNabb got his deserved revenge with his victory in Philadelphia on Sunday. (Clayton)

17 (14) Eagles 2-2-0 The Eagles have gone from quarterback crisis to quarterback disaster. (Clayton)

18 (12) Bengals 2-2-0 The offense has an identity crisis and it's costing the Bengals games. (Walker)

19 (13) Titans 2-2-0 They need to shore up pass defense for Dallas. (Kuharsky)

20 (24) Giants 2-2-0 Too bad the Giants' defense can't get the Bears' offensive line on demand on their cable. (Clayton)

21 (23) Broncos 2-2-0 Orton's been great, but needs some run-game help. (Kuharsky)

22 (26) Jaguars 2-2-0 Win over Colts re-energized franchise, city. (Kuharsky)

23 (20) Buccaneers 2-1-0 Bucs are averaging 1.83 yards per carry on first down, not good enough (Sando)

24 (27) Rams 2-2-0 Bradford has 118.1 rating on third-and-long after two third-and-10 TDs vs. Seattle. (Sando)

25 (22) Cardinals 2-2-0 Whisenhunt was right when he said neither Cards QB will scare the Saints. (Sando)

26 (19) Seahawks 2-2-0 Seahawks need bye week to sort through personnel issues on offensive line.(Sando)

27 (30) Browns 1-3-0 Finally the Browns get a win, but upcoming schedule makes it tough to maintain success. (Walker)

28 (25) 49ers 0-4-0 Schedule becomes more favorable now, and 49ers must start making up ground. (Sando)

29 (28) Raiders 1-3-0 The Raiders can't survive giving up rushing yards like Houston got. (Kuharsky)

30 (29) Panthers 0-4-0 Panthers, 0-6 in September over past two seasons, know how to dig holes. (Sando)

31 (31) Lions 0-4-0 Throwing 54 times with QB Shaun Hill is not a formula for success. (Walker)

32 (32) Bills 0-4-0 Once again, the Bills will be hard-pressed to win a game in the AFC East. (Clayton) Once again, the Bills will be hard pressed to win a game in the AFC East

Jets beat the Fins and they drop a spot, Pats beat the same team a week later and they move up. All power rankings are BS. They reflect one person's opinion and they reserve the right to change their mind a week later.

Jets should be #2 for sure, a hair behind the Steelers.

The Saints and Packers are basically the same team right now, you can run all over their defense (4.5 ypc and 5.2 ypc against respectively) and they both have ZERO running game right now, mainly cause of injuries. With that said the Ravens should be #3.

Although I am surprised the NY hating chowderheads in Bristol Connecticut actually have the Jets in the Top 5 and also ahead of the Patsies..

I'm really wondering if anyone actually watches the Falcons or the Saints. They're middle of the pack teams right now.

Agreed. Packers don't look that amazing either. Right now, to me, it's the Steelers and Jets, then everyone else.

I hate to make excuses, because it really sounds cheap, but just watch all three teams play. The Ravens are clearly the lesser of the three. I know they beat the Steelers on the road, but Big Ben hasn't lost to the Ravens since I don't know when - and they still barely eked out a win in the final minute. The Jets were horribly reigned in offensively, committed the worst penalty spree I've ever seen from this team, and still only lost by a point to Baltimore.

I am not sold by the Ravens. Not even mentioning them keeping it close with Cleveland at home and losing to the Bengals on the road, two below-average/average teams at best.

1a) Steelers
1b) Jets

.

.
.
.
Somewhere in the top-10) Ravens

I think it is SO cool that we are ranked highly after week 4.

When do we get the trophy?

It's all about the AFC right now. 70% of the Top 10 are in our conference.

Colts lost to Texans in week 1......then handled the next two games in normal fashion.

Jaq's are a division team and are always a tough game and they only lost by a field goal even with a terrible defense. Had Caldwell not been an idiot and called a timeout with 30 seconds to go, the game could have easily gone to the overtime and then who knows.
