I know the punter is not a glamorous position but Weatherford has been much, much better compared to last year. He had a great game - many deep kicks with hang time allowing the coverage to get down resulting in fair catches inside the 20. His net was probably close to 40 for the game.

The Jets kicking game has been somewhat acceptable (shhhhh, no ****ing jinxing our kickers please! Don;t you noobs know anything?)
He truly is a weapon. How many times did he pin the Vikes back there. No Favre miracles, this game is not a nail biter.

He does an outstanding job kicking it down the field and inside the 10 but Cole is always down there to fall on the ball or force the fair catch. Cole is the best gunner in the NFL. Punter can't kick it and fall on the ball or force the fair catch.

Totally agree. Hope we lock him up so we don't have to worry about this anymore. when was the last time we had a guy at his position that effective and reliable?
