- Baltimore ran 233 yards. Rice and McGahee picking up 133 and 67 respectively. Scored 4 TDs on the run (Flacco ran in for one aswell). Denver has to be sh**ing themselves at this point.
- Flacco was 14/25 for 196. No question we'll use Sanchez exactly the same way.
- Orton went for 23/38, 314 yards, 2 TDs. So yes, could potentially be trouble and Lloyd poses a serious threat.
Total first downs
Baltimore 28, Denver 16
By rushing
Baltimore 17, Denver 1
Alarm bells for Denver...
Time of possession:
Denver: 23 minutes, Ravens: 36 minutes. And ultimately, that's why we're favourite for this game. They can throw it, and Lloyd is another nightmare matchup, but when you can't get those 1st down to give Orton enough time to win you the game, you're as good as done. AND...when you give 200+ yards rushing going into a game against a great rush team, you're already half beaten.
I totally disagree that this is a trap game which others seem to believe. This will be a repeat of Buffalo, with a tighter winning margin.
