OBAMA: America Should Apologize - "WORLD Series" Misleading; Public Shaming Likely

(11-02) 03:49 PDT San Jose, Calif. (AP) --

Wrong number? Obama doesn't call champion Giants

Amid beer and champagne flowing in the clubhouse of the San Francisco Giants late Monday, one thing was missing.

The president. Not the president of the ball club. The President of the United States.

Giants players and personnel thought they'd hear from President Barack Obama by telephone after San Francisco beat the Texas Rangers 3-1 in Game 5 to capture its first World Series title since 1954.

But Giants spokeswoman Staci Slaughter tells KNTV they have yet to take that call.

Slaughter says team personnel gave the White House the private line into manager Bruce Bochy's office, as well as other numbers for Obama to get in touch but so far, nothing.

The Giants, though, are used to waiting.

It's been 56 years since their last series title.

Thanks to Obama and his kronies, we're going to be seeing a lot more of this in the future.

That's the least of Obama's screw ups.

Does this really surprise anyone? Obama is a fraud. The turnover began yesterday.

    The Associated Press

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama is looking forward to congratulating
the San Francisco Giants in person at the White House for winning their first
World Series in more than a half century.

The White House says Obama telephoned those in the baseball organization
Tuesday and recalled the excitement he felt when his beloved White Sox
    broke their World Series drought.

Obama said he enjoyed watching Monday night's winning game and
mentioned that he wanted to find out if there really was magic in the beard
of closer Brian Wilson. Wilson has a black lumberjack beard and he's been
credited with helping the Giants return to the playoffs after a six-year
    absence.

The Giants also invited Obama to a home game.

See, he gets around to stuff. Once he is done burning copies of the Constitution and re-reading his own book.

I guess if McCain was in office everybody would be working and able to afford a PSL. Woody must be so mad that McCain didn't win maybe the Stadium would be sold out by now. Give me a break!

Right. At least he didn't start a war in a country that really
didn't possess those weapons of mass destruction. Oh yeah, and let's
hamstring the SEC so the pigs can really gorge at the trough and
nearly put the country in a deep financial depression. All happened on
Dubya's watch and will happen soon again. Opinions that mask themselves as
    ignorance are inexcusable.

ah yes...the irony of it all....

less than two years in office and he got his clocked clean....

i guess the majority of Americans, the same majority that put him in office, are ignorant and inexcusable while you know what's best for the rest...

So...if he takes time to call and congratulate the Giants he's wasting time and ignoring the problems of the country.

    And...if he doesn't call right away he's un-American.

    Non-story.

There's an entire forum on JI where this doofus's mass failings as POTUS can be discussed.

"A majority, also known as a simple majority in the U.S., is a subset of a group consisting of more than half of the group. This should not be confused with a plurality, which is a subset having the largest number of parts. A plurality is not necessarily a majority, as the largest subset may be less than half of the entire group. In British English, majority and plurality are often used as synonyms; it can also refer to the margin of vote separating the first-place finisher from the second-place finisher, so that a candidate who wins by 1000 votes may be said to have received "a majority of 1000 votes". The term "overall majority" is used in British English to refer to the difference between the number of seats won by the winning party in an election and the combined number of seats for all the other parties in parliament.[1] The term "absolute majority" is used to indicate more than fifty percent of the vote.[2]"

So if 51 out of 100 people get a guy elected then I guess it provides a mandate for that "majority" to enact whatever legislation they see fit while the other 49 just have to grin and bear it. Yes, the irony of it all. The "majority" of those who elected him who are now fed up that he hasn't "fixed the economy" are certainly going to get what they asked for. The economy is going to get fixed by tomorrow, everyone will have high-paying jobs with great benefits and the tooth fairy will put a gold bar under everyone's pillow. What will really happen is the banking industry will demolish any of the regulatory reforms attempted to be put in place in the last year and will continue their sleights-of-hand resulting in even more suffering for the working people of America, more jobs out sourced to China and India and an even greater trade deficit. Enjoy!
