The Notre Dame Pedophiles are going down, figuratively speaking.

That on-field interview where the sideline reporter cut off the 1947 Heisman Trophy winner right after she asked him to reminisce on his old Yankee Stadium games was awkward, bordering on disrespectful- she tried to talk over him and cut him off to get to the commercial break.

Is there a story behind this nickname? Or just trying to bash them?

No story, just bashing. That nickname is a Roadfan original. I really don't like/watch college football. ND is the "Dallas Cowboys" of the collegiate level. They are no longer relevant and basically have their own network. I have a couple of friends that are ND fans. The nickname gets 'em fired up, especially the Catholic one.

really fantastic- anyone see Illinois/N'western at Wrigley Feild today?? they could only play in one end zone because they were afraid of running into the outfield wall...

really terrific to watch college football hold on to tradition...

I really wanted to see that game, unfortunately regional and cable broadcasts didn't show it.

How was it? I'm sure it must have been a unique atmosphere.

It was on ESPN U..not sure if you get that.

It was great to see Wrigley outfitted that way...the buildings across the street were packed too.

Along with all offense going in one direction, both teams shared the same sideline because of the layout

it was terrific, though i wish NU would've won the game......in the second quarter NU runs a kick back 70+ yards towards the end zone they were not using...they place the ball down then everyone runs to the other side of the field for the NU possession...really had to be mayhem for the teams at the start...

evidently the game was a selllout....they said the bar that sits over the left field wall was taking reservations for $275/head for all the food/booze and a seat for the game...great atmosphere- better than what i'm watching right now with Army/ND...
