    McKnight on D?

I haven't had a chance to watch the game yet, but the box score said that McKnight made some tackles on defense? How much was he on the field, and how did he do?

it was good to see the kid go full speed and actually act excited after the specials unit stuffed jones on his returns.

I noticed his name come up quite a few times, usually alongside Brad Smith, on the return tackles. Good to see he's not afraid to get into tackles.

He did excellent on special teams. Both kickoff coverage AND punt coverage. Dude is fast and really flies down there. Had a great tackle on one of them too.

Don't think he played on defense though. Rex said he could play on defense, but likely not unless there was an injury.

Plus, it's not like Houston was going 5 wide out there either.

He's hoping to become another Woodhead.

I want us to throw him some screens so badly. McKnight will be a really good scat back and he'll be able to do so much for us.

Why on earth would you take Tomlinson out on any screen play?

Same concept with Woodhead. Woodhead wasn't even good on special teams and it's not like he was ever going to play on offense. McKnight is at least good at teams and has dynamic talent either as a corner or as RB. Personally I'm really interested in him at corner because he has elite change of direction. He'd be a big, physical corner as well.
