Jets will win by 20 this week. Our defense will be huge because of two things:
1. It's a short week, a defense always has the advantage on a short week
2. More importantly, they are fired up. A quote from the post:
[QUOTE]The Jets' ever-loquacious linebacker Bart Scott, for example, was so incensed at the defensive performance, he not only declined comment after the game Sunday, but when approached in the locker room yesterday he declined to speak then, either.
"We want to be an aggressive defense and right now things are a little bit shaky with the mistakes on the field," cornerback Darrelle Revis said. "We have to get back to that dominating defense that we played last year. The crazy thing about it is we're 8-2 and we haven't played our best football."
The Cincinnati Bengals signed rookie safety Jeromy Miles to the active roster from their practice squad and waived defensive end Victor Adeyanju.
Miles is a 6-foot-2, 215-pounder from the University of Massachusetts who joined the Bengals as a college free agent after the draft and played in all five preseason games, logging six tackles.
He was waived Sept. 4 and signed the next day to the practice squad.
Adeyanju is a fifth-year NFL player who was signed as a free agent on Thursday last week. Adeyanju was inactive for last week’s game against Buffalo.
