    Anyone else have a feeling...

That the Jets are going to get flagged excessively when they play the Pats?

The Pats are known for getting BS calls and non-calls. And with Brady's recent temper tantrum I have a really bad feeling that the Jets are going to get flagged to death come 12/6.

Does anyone else have this sneaking suspicion?

Really should be the other way they have the rookie and 2nd year secondary, we need to exploit that.

I'm not worried about the refs.

If the Jets don't play stupidly they should win.

I hope the Jets aren't looking past the Bengals like 90% of the people on this board appear to be doing.

Brady is doing exactly what Pat Riley would do all the time: working the refs before the game. And Rex should do the same exact thing. He should make some observations about how certain players get calls that most others don't, and how his team seems to get more scrutiny than others because they play hard. Set the tone now, so the refs are on the spot to call a more balanced game or risk being accused of favoritism.

Should really blame the colts and more directly, Bill Polian.. from 01-05, the Pats were known for their physical CB play.. Polian had the NFL institute the 5 yard chuck rule and now its changed the game..

Reason why the slot receiver has exploded the past few years..

I expect flags aplenty. The Jets seem to commit more than most teams. Saw in another thread that they are 6th in the league in penalties and 5th in penalty yards per game.

Of course, according to many here, thos are all bs flags anyways.

To answer the OP's question. Yes we are going to get flagged incessantly during the game.
We are one of the most scrutinized, and over penalized teams in the league. Its not just flagged, but getting flagged on those maybe it is a penalty maybe it isn't type plays in critical situations.

In fact both of our losses were heavily influenced by bad calls. In week 1, flagging anyone that came within 5 feet of a receiver. Especially the PI call that gave the Raven's their ownly TD.

And in the Packers game, two picks that weren't picks. Do you really think if it was brady's recievers who caught those balls it would be ruled an int, or a completion?

So yeah, I expect lots and lots of penalties, at least 1 ruffing the passer call that extends a 3rd down to a 1st down that leads to a touchdown.

Not to mention NE's O-line holds like a mofo and rarely gets called.

i'm getting the feeling we will have tons of illegal contact and defensive holding calls go against us...

that being said, we're still going to punch them straight in the mouth

I hope the Pats aren't looking past the Lions like they did against the Browns.
