Hell Yeah, my boy Sanchez is just improving and improving week after week, all this during his "sophmore slump" season.

I know most will still hate, but you gotta give Schottenheimer and the rest of the coaching staff props for bring him along at an impressive rate, great job!

Perhaps he wasnt counting it since Mark had his arm hit as he threw the ball.

    lol.

I think Mark has thrown three INTs in the past few weeks.
One vs Texans and I think the other 2 were the larceny, i mean, Interceptions by the Packers with our players on the ground.
    Will never get over those.

Nice to see him get the recognition he deserves. I don't know where we'd be without Mark Sanchez.

    A look at Sanchez’s performance…

    * Sanchez completed 22 of 38 passes (57.9 percent) for 315 yards with three touchdowns versus one interception and a 100.2 passer rating in the Jets’ 30-27 win over Houston.

    * He tied a career high with three touchdown passes and recorded the second 300-yard passing game of his career (336 on November 7, 2010).

    * With the Jets trailing 27-23, Sanchez led a five-play, 72-yard game-winning drive that culminated with a six-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver SANTONIO HOLMES with 10 seconds remaining.

    * Sanchez has a 16-9 record (.640) as a starter and tied CHAD PENNINGTON for the second-best record through a quarterback's first 25 starts in franchise history. VINNY TESTAVERDE holds the club record with a 19-6 record (.760) in his first 25 starts with the Jets.

    * Helped the Jets improve to 8-2, tied for the best record in the NFL.

    * In his second season from Southern California, this is Sanchez’s first career Player of the Week Award. He joins LA DAINIAN TOMLINSON (Week 4) as the only Jets to win Offensive Player of the Week this season.

I'm actually surprised he won -- those aren't exactly gaudy numbers against a defense like Houston's.

You gotta figure those last 30 seconds are the only reason he was even considered . . .

    Congratulations Mr. Sanchez.

His numbers during 3-4 quarters of the games may not have been spectacular, but his last minute heroics over the past month definitely merit the recognition.

so how many times now has our 'rookie qb' done this during this season?

  17. #17
You'd think they would have a pic from the game instead on the white uniform pic. Oh, maybe the pickle uni's are just to ugly

I wouldn't trade him for any other in the league, including the homosexual in foxboro

Actually most realize the great job Schotty has done with Sanchez. I believe it's a "vocal" minority that are critical of him.

I hope we are able to keep him after the season, because I do believe it's just a matter of time till he gets a HC opportunity somewhere.
