All this praise for 1 offensive td OMG

I do agree we did see better plays called this week I don't think
it warrents all this praise schitty is getting. We scored 1 offensive
td the whole game. The saftey by the defence was the biggest
play of the game besides the run back by smith. I think we need
to see a little more offensive scoring before we let this guy off the
hook on his crappy game plans. One game does not make things better.
I still think he needs to go period.

Stop looking at this like it is fantasy football. Sometimes the game dictates what is needed.

The vagiants scored 4 offensive tds yesterday. Big deal. Go root for them if that is all you are concerned with.

I see what you are saying but the Jets really came to play yesterday, that's what matters. Now they still showed so many of their problems which might be our undoing at some point this season. But the team that they have a big heart and that they believe in Rex. They will play hard the rest of the way and then we'll see what we can do in the playoffs. Yesterday's game looked a lot like that playoff victory in SD last year and that is a good sign going forward...

good win (as all are) but once again the offense failed to come up big. after the taylor safety, all the offense had to do was get one more first down to ice the game. they couldn't and so, even though weatherford pinned the steelers back, it took the clock and the last play of the game for them to win the game. this was just another example of schitty getting in the way of the offense. no screens. stupid pass plays when a run would work, etc. sanchez played an exceptional game so it wasn't on him.

How about going into a hostile environment and getting a win against an elite team? Stop ****ing crying.

And against a Team that we NEVER EVER defeat in their whole FREAKIN' STATE???

Some people just aren't satisfied until we beat a team 63-0 or something. sheesh.

I too require that the team win by at least 2 possessions for the win to count. It only makes sense. With how easy it is to score points these days, and jah know it be easy, Schottenheimer consistently lets us down.

A REAL OC would have put up 35 at least.

Much Ado is an alias of a previously banned poster, Senor Gato. He doesn't hide his undying love for Schotty very well.

I'll tell my dad you said he called good game yesterday.

What's wrong with what I said? Schotty should have gameplanned and playcalled more points. No one is denying this.

i am by no means a schottenheimer fan, but considering the defense the jets faced the offense did well and play calling was good for the most part.

Of course Schotty doesn't deserve bashing after that game -- but does he deserve praise?

Yeah, the team went into a hostile environment and won . . . by offensive domination?

Right now we're a middle of the pack playoff team who needs everything to click to beat a quality team. Most of the year I allowed myself to believe we were more than that. Now that I've accepted we're not, it's a lot easier to accept the win and ignore the deficiencies that are likely to kill us down the road . . .
