Face it boyz & girlz, until the team stops being The Fat Bridesmaids Of The NFL, SAR will stick to his reverse karma threads in the hopes that he can sell his Captain Morgan club seats with 110% mark-up and re-coup some of his PSL investment.

    ;)

Here ya go SAR I, Happy Holidays:

Took you two days to come up with this? I expected a better effort. You didn't even try to spin your way out of your numerous predictions that we'd lose out and finish 9-7
Our QB nearly threw away the game.

Our OC's playcalling on our last drive guaranteed the Steelers would get the ball back.

Our RB's still look worse than last year.

Our pass rush consisted of one busted play by a Pittsburgh o'lineman.

Without a miracle KO TD in the first seconds of the game, we lose.

Playing bad teams = Jets win.

Playing good teams on their worst day = Jets win.

This season can't end fast enough. Go Bears.

    SAR I
Then we're good, because the Bills are a bad team.
It's the ninth time in 10 games we've been rewarded for playing badly. Just reinforces the fact that the offense can be mismanaged and take the week off and they'll still win.

Some think today was an epic win, something memorable. It makes me sick. We played horribly. Yeah, 'better to win than lose' blah blah I get that. If we've got Lombardi aspirations, Sunday was about as far from that as possible.

    SAR I
The offense took the week off? LOL the offense and special teams won the game for us. The defense if anything took the week off, but the Taylor safety was huge.

During the 1990 season, I worked with a guy who was a big Giants fan. He hated the conservative Parcells style. Every week, win or lose (usually a win), he'd come in and ***** and moan about how lousy the Giants played and how they were lucky to win and how they needed an offensive coordinator who would let Simms throw the ball so they didn't have to keep winning these close games, because there was no way they were going to win a Super Bowl playing like this. When the Giants beat the Bills, he came in the next day and he was sort of happy, but you could see that he was at least equally upset that he had been proven wrong and that the conservative style had actually won a Lombardi Trophy. We may not be ready yet to win a Super Bowl, but just maybe we are, and if we do, I'll be in full celebration mode. I've seen enough losses in the last 48 years. I'll take the wins and enjoy every one. Even if the judges aren't giving us a 10 on their style scorecards.

He knows that certain speshul fans want it both ways.
Maybe if you didn't try so hard to "dazzle" everyone with your pathetically phony act, it would be easier to feel sorry for you.

We let a bad offense throw all over us like Big Ben was Tom Brady.
That statement would make more sense if Roethlisberger outperformed his stats for the season

Roethlisberger had averaged 260 yards per game and got 264.
He had completed 61% of his passes, and completed 52%
He averages about 2 TDs a game, and got 1
He averages about 7.75 YPA, and had 6
The Steelers averaged about 21 PPG in his starts, and they got 17.
They did average 118 rushing YPG and get 147 against the Jets

The Jets overall played a solid game in every area - offense, defense and special teams. Could the defense have played better? Sure. Lowery got away with hold and we never really got pressure on Rapistberger but we still held them to 17 pts.

The deeper you get the farther inside you need to go. Inner thoughts are few and far between.

Those stats are combined and factor into them playing weaker teams. They're not supposed to have their average stats when facing elite defenses. I don't know about you, but in the game I watched they converted EVERY 3rd down and 15+ (except for one down that was 3rd and 22, which they ended up 2 yards short) and threw all over the middle of the field like we were little girls. I remember finally getting a stop early in the fourth quarter and I jumped up and down. Pretty ridiculous to be that happy over just getting one stop. How many 4 and outs did our D put up against them? Exactly my point.

The Steelers had 4 drives with 1 first down, and one that was a one play safety. I'm not saying the defense was great, but they played well before the final drive.
Also, only the Saints and Ravens held the Steelers to less points than 17 since Roethlisberger got back.

You would think that after going into hiding for a couple of days that you could have come up with something better than this.

Very disappointing and way too predictable:yes:
This. This right here is the problem.

If that's the closest we've come to a complete game, then we are not gonna go very far in the playoffs.

The defense was especially shaky in the 2nd half, particularly in the 4th quarter. The coverage was horrible. Receivers had wide open space to catch many passes untouched. That was not how a defense should protect a lead. The Steelers were advancing the ball with impunity. We're lucky it didn't turn into more points.

It was a good win, in the sense that it's good to win. (let that dose of brilliance settle for a second).
We held them to 7 points in the 2nd half, which all came on the 1st drive of the 2nd half. Look, i'm not saying we were that great because yes we did blow some major coverage, all of which seemed to come on 3rd and very long. In the end though, we stood our ground and got the win on defense against one of the top teams in the AFC.

And for those who are that foolish, SAR does this crap all the time as a "good luck" charm. Pretty sure it occured last year as well.
