    E. Smith (concussion) is out here in non-contact jersey. James Ihedigbo (ankle/knee), Pryce (hip) and Holmes (toe).

Sanchez, jogging out a few seconds late, is on the practice field.

Expect #Jets D to make a few personnel adjustments to better stop the run this week. #Bears are one of worst run teams in #NFL

Wait, if they are one of the worst in the NFL, why do they have to make adjustments?? Am I missing something here?

I just asked Manish and responded with...

Because even bad run teams can expose holes. It's a copycat league. Jets identified a problem and fixed it. They stay ahead of the curve

In other injury news, WR Santonio Holmes (toe), S James Ihedigbo (ankle/knee) and DT Trevor Pryce (hip) were on the practice field. S Eric Smith (concussion) was wearing a red non-contact jersey and bubble wrap on his helmet, likely a light take on his injury. Ryan already said Smith and RT Damien Woody (knee) will be out this week.

Manish is dead-on there. We could get embarassed by Forte if adjustments AREN'T made. Remember that Mendenhall ALMOST( ) ran for 100 yards on us and Chicago would be looking to use the same gameplan against the Jets.

I've just been told that barring a setback in next 48 hrs, #Jets Mark Sanchez will start vs. #Bears Sun. Looked good in practice

Clemens said Sanchez was "slinging it" today. Only difference was that he put a coat on between series

Sounds like Sanchez upped the zippage and the sling factor today. Good news.

Santonio Holmes says all he wants for Christmas is a Super Bowl. First step, a win on Sunday.

Hopefully the Bears don't chew our secondary up in the middle of the field. We were pretty weak in pass coverage with our safety's before Leonhard injury and now we are down E. Smith and a hobbled Ihedigbo.

Great news about Sanchez...I still think we should pound Greene 25 times and LT 15 times...Get the win and give Sanchez next week off...

You apparently haven't been paying much attention lately.

E.Smith is out with a Concussion and Dwight Lowery was just named the Jets Starting Safety for the rest of the year.
