Jets scouts were all over Eric Hagg at practice this morning

had three scouts converge on him after practice....big fan of Hagg's and have posted about him before....spoke with him- nice, polite kid...

is training at school as he needs 12 hours before getting his degree...

just makes plays on the ball and always in the proper position..

He showed good instincts to get to the ball quick though and there was no indecision. We do have to draft at least one safety this year that is for sure.

Where do you see Ballard going? Mid to late 2nd round?

What round is Hag suppose to go in??

Also I was wondering how has Allen Bailey been looking? I can't find anything on what he has done so I am guessing nothing impressive.

Day 2 of South practice starts at 5pm. I didn't see anything on Bailey from yesterday.

Ton of players from Nebraska this year, possibly Callahan has some inside information... Any thoughts or comments on these Huskers ?

    1. Prince Amukamara (sp) CB
    2. Mike McNeil TE
    3. Dejon Gomes Safety
    4. Alex Henery PK
    5. Roy Helu RB
    6 Pierre Allen DE
    7.Keith Williams OG
    8. Niles Paul WR
    9. Ricky Henry OG
    10. Eric Hagg SS

I am very curious about Paul, both Safeties could be Jets, what do you think ?

Gomes is not a safety- he's a terrific corner they had to get on the field as he could not break into the starting line-up because they had so much talent at the position. He's a nickel at the next level....

Been reading phil taylor is lighting things up. He better not pull a Raji on me . I remember when I was all over picking him with our late first and he just shot up the boards during the draft season.

Read through all the draftcountdown stuff (Nice work Bit) and I think we have to say goodbye to Mr Jordan. I still love Quinton Carter as a safety for us and I read that he took over the play calling for the North defense yesterday. Seems like a Rex guy to me.

Very interesting, hearing that hes doing great and that hes not flabby but just big makes me intrigued with taking him at pick 30 if hes there.. Hes rated as a mid prospect right now, but if hes a 6'3 337 NT he may go higher.. We could use a young NT right now, if the coaches like what they see I am all for it

Ha. I KNOW I'd heard that name somewhere, so I had to look him up and found this. Similar in size to Clay Matthews, but does he have the same speed?
