    oh yeah? like who? California and who else? are they doing much worse than red state Nevada with the nation's largest unemployment rate?

    these deficit numbers sound huge in the media but most states have relatively small deficits, with the key word being relatively... hundred million dollars sounds like a lot of money to you and me but to a state it's not alot.

    like i said... the media portrayal is that every state is going bankrupt. the reality is not nearly as dire. California is in trouble because of their weird proposition system but most states will be fine.

    In spite of that they also have most of the money and are perfectly capable of importing their food from South America just as easily as from Iowa.
