    WTF? Holy hell....

So. In the apt building next door to me, some idiot shot off an AK last night, shot a hole through their ceiling and into the apt above them. There's wood chips and carpet shreds all over the place.

Cops came. Everyone in the apt w/ the gun was drunk. No one owned up to owning the gun. Cops seized gun and left. Didn't arrest anyone or anything.

How the f*ck is that possible?

    Ummm, what?

I'm pretty sure taxpayer dollars weren't firing weapons in an apartment building...lol

Please link the NRA Press Release where they support breaking the Law and firing illegal automatic firearms within the confines of a domestic appt.

    While drunk.

    Thanks.

Serious Q for anyone who might know - does the NRA support civilian availability/use of these 'assault' rifles?

Seriously...if you don't get those neighbors thrown right the hell out of there, you're crazy. Especially with a kid

It was for the apartment complex my company runs (which IS next door to me). Mr. Property Manager is "working" on it.

He's mad at me. Every time he walks into the office, I play the first 5 secs of "You Give Love a Bad Name" and "Hand on the Glock" by Cypress Hill. He said it was "inappropriate".

    Wildly? Perhaps...

That just silly. Why don't you find the one where they dont?

That's pretty lame. My uncle was always a big hunter/gun guy, I believe he is (or was at one point) a member of the NRA, I've heard him say more than once that there's absolutely no reason for a civilian to have one.

As long as its not automatic, the NRA is in favor of allowing civilians to own them and they are indeed not per se illegal. I don't know for fact, but I'm pretty sure that they would be in favor of allowing automatic rifles in civilian hands as well.

Because you cannot prove a negative my friend.

The NRA does not support illegal use of illegal automatic firearms inside a dometic abode by drunken louts.

I'm all for Gun Debate (as you may recall, I favor restrictions on some weapons myself), but I just prefer we stick to the issues and not be silly.

Clearly, the NRA would not be supportive of what these dangerous fools did. One of the foundations of teh NRA is Gun Safety, and there is nothing safe about this story.

This is clearly Schotty's fault. When will people wake up and realize this?
