Thanks. Right back at ya. You ever hear of Deer Tick? Another small act with a big, retro sound.

Bigelf is another band which would be quite at home with 70s acts like The Sweet, Mott, T-Rex, ELO, and lots of others.

Drunk Horse. They also have roots in '70's American blues-rock.

I can't find a YouTube of their best tune. But they have some originality, so take a look at Skydog, an extended jam.

Rock n' Roll died after Kurt Cobain decided to blow his face off, Guns n Roses broke up and Metallica became pussified. That was a triple whammy.

The excrement that's on top 40 these days has me convinced civlization is falling apart.

Just found this as I didn't watch the Grammy's - but a great performance nonetheless:

Kurt Cobain killed the rock star and the grandiose nature of the rock gods of yester-year. Love the music hate the guy

He's the best rapper out right now and he's so underrated.

    And why not

By far my favorite band from the last 10 years has to be...

    The Gaslight Anthem

Great live band as well. First saw them @ Maxwells in Hoboken before they were anything and now this year got to see them @ Radio City Music Hall!!!

Another great band is Times of Grace... Adam D and Jesse Leach from the original Killswitch Engage lineup put together this epic side project and just released "The Hymn of a Broken Man"

Best Metal I've heard in years!
