Matthews, at the earliest, is a 4th rounder.

Like Matthews a lot, and he does have those great bloodlines.

But no way is he a first round pick.

With a great performance in workouts, maybe he climbs into the 3rd. But, right now, he's a 4th or 5th rounder IMHO.

Would love to get him there though - he will be a good NFL player for years.

    Justin Houston or Jabaal Sheard.

When I can get the same player in the 3rd round, possibly later, why would I take him in the 1st? Also Heyward is a no brainer if he is there, easily 10X the prospect Mathews is.

Also acceptable depending on how combine season goes:

    Ty Warren 2.0

Roddy White 2.0...obviously depends on what goes on with the WRs.

    Lamarr Woodley 2.0

^^ is Brooks Reed blowing up Mark in that picture?

  15. #15
Yup, and if you look down by Mark's left hip, you will see the ball coming loose...................

Sheard is someone I think can be a DE/OLB, but all of those guys in that second group will be guys who settle their situation at the combine.

    Oh I forgot one...

Ryan Kerrigan! Don't think it would be a shock if he was still there

Kerrigan or Wilkerson in the first would be fine

Sign me up for Brooks Reed .This defense needs someone with that kind of motor and is scrappy.

Purdue DE Ryan Kerrigan is the consensus choice for the Falcons across several mock drafts.
