Where are you?

Yeah I agree, I tried to give them a chance, but they really fell flat. I'm not sure who could do it. Ricky Gervais is great at the Golden Globes, they would never let him do the Oscars.
I just checked and I can actually watch Black Swan in my hotel room tonight. Didn't realize it was available. Sheeez....I might actually have to watch it now.

EDIT: Nope, not for $13.99. I'll PPV for $5 one night with the wife when I get home.
I watched it with her while you were away.

Best thing about the Oscars was Jennifer Lawrence. Deliciousness.

That brief appearance by Billy Crystal made me remember how great he was at hosting the Oscars and how its been all downhill since he gave up the gig. I wish he would have kept doing it for twenty years like Bob Hope.
Ann Hathaway is one phenomenal piece of @$$ and a Jersey girl too but what the hell is she and Franco doing hosting the Oscars?

Billy Crystal is the only guy who can host the Oscars. He is also one hell of an interview.

She is from right next door so I'm in her corner, but she looks too much like Liza Minnelli.

She is a complete, and utter, knock out. And that kid can act. Her performance in Winter's Bone was extraordinary. I loved that flick.

One of those movies you don't want to end. Simple concept and story, which was brilliantly acted by that entire cast.

After seeing Kirk Douglas, I thought he would end up on the "in memorium" montage!!!

my guess would be the Oscars marketing folks were trying to attract a younger audience....just like the Super Bowl people were trying to attract a younger crowd with the black eye peas...both full blown disasters.
Hathaway was too cheery and giggly. Her hands were moving around like she was a Price is Right model. She was a very bizzarre choice.

Franco could have pulled it off with someone else, but he'd have to be the second fiddle.

I have more respect for him than ever. Most actors would be too ashamed to appear in that condition, he came out and had fun without worrying about what anyone thought.
