Source: Charles Clay on radar of Jets, Dolphins, Broncos and Rams

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports versatile Tulsa running back Charles Clay is an interesting prospect who has been making the rounds at the NFL scouting combine.

Clay met with the Denver Broncos, St. Louis Rams, Miami Dolphins and the New York Jets along with several other teams, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation.

Clay is capable of playing running back, tight end, H-back or fullback.

The 6-foot-3, 239-pounder has also played split reciver, defensive end and Wildcat quarterback.

Interesting prospect. If he can really play H-back, run it and catch it with the ability to block, he will be tough to defend. And his versatility makes it more difficult to defend the other weapons.

That was a big problem with having Hartsock as the 2nd TE. Everyone on the defense KNEW he was not catching a pass. They did not have to account for his presence.

This passing game will open up if they can find a good blocker who has some ability to move the chains.
