Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Yes, all over the non-sports pages that you obviously don't read, that the rise of the tea party is based on racism. Try following the news sometime, the world is a pretty interesting place.

Wayne Chrebet, Danny Woodhead and so on are considered overachievers. If they were Black they would be considered average or underachieving. So if your white and do good you are an overachiever ?. Is this because people assume white people should suck?. Stop picking on the Whites damnit and stop creating posts that you think will give you brownie points (no pun intended).

Wayne Chrebet and Danny Woodhead are considered overachievers because of their small stature and the small time schools they went to. Not because they are white.

Great point. They are nothing more than Bruce Harper was back in the late 70's and early 80's.

F Politics on a football message board, but you dont get from

    1. The president says the Tea Party has racist underpinnings

    to

    2. The president called the 2010 elections racist

without several details in the middle. And an attack on a person asking for a source probably isnt the detail that is needed.

As for the topic, racism does not exist in pro sports to anything like the extent that it does in almost any other industry, especially in tangible areas like % of nonwhite players and salaries paid to nonwhite players. Having a few bigots in the sports and media infrastructure does not make the whole structure bigoted.

the last presidential election was indeed a racial issue. The loser garnered almost 60 million.... that is not to be taken lightly. Easily that amount would have made you the president any other election but one. On the other side of the coin - When I went to vote that day, there were non-white people who were asking where to go to vote outside the polls. They had never been inside the voting area and it was obvious that many people in their late 30's and early forties had finally registered to vote , or were voting for the first time in a long time .....and for one reason only.
