I lived in that place in '81. Always packed and pitchers sloshing left and right.

DO you remember Richie the cerebral Palsy guy that would get sh*faced there every night?

Bobby the bartender, Artie the Dewars chugging bouncer (soon to be Airline pilot)

Hit that, Poor Richards, Little Neck Inn for pool, some jernt on middle neck road.. cant remember the name...we bounced all over.

Yup. one and the same. Heard his name during a game the other night and couldn't remember where I heard it before.

I'd be there if my squad, Villanova, did not **** the proverbial bed here down the stretch (since Jan 26 loss to Providence)....oooooo well.

    Go Johnnies!

    I went to UConn.

I've met Jim Calhoun several times at fundraisers. His granddaughter goes to the same school as my sons. He's a decent guy. A bit arrogant, but not unbearable.

Geno Auriemma, however, is a complete doosh.

As a UConn fan, I hope St. John's wins this game. They are by far the easier match-up.

    UCONN '08.

I've met Jim and Geno both, I found them both arrogant, but otherwise very pleasant. They are two of the best in their respective positions, so I can't fault them too much for a bit of arrogance. The only thing that burns me up is that Jimmy C's from Mass...

I agree the Red Storm would have been an easier matchup for us, but seriously, I hate Syracuse as much as I hate the Pats, and I'm gonna LOVE watching Kemba rip them apart...hopefully live at MSG!
