JI Consensus Draft: #13 Detroit Lions

I'm not a big fan of the Minnesota selection, which was very close and spread out among a lot of choices. But we move on...

The Lions are in a difficult position as they clearly need to beef up their offensive line and they desperately need to improve their secondary, both of which may be reaches at #13. But here goes... I'll include some of the remaining top defensive ends as well, which may be the best bargain.

    1) CAROLINA PANTHERS D'Quan Bowers, DE (Clemson)
    2) DENVER BRONCOS Marcell Dareus, DT (Alabama)
    3) BUFFALO BILLS Von Miller, OLB (Texas A&M)
    4) CINCINNATI BENGALS A.J. Green, WR (Georgia)
    5) ARIZONA CARDINALS Blaine Gabbert, QB (Missouri)
    6) CLEVELAND BROWNS Julio Jones, WR (Alabama)
    7) SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS Patrick Peterson, CB (LSU)
    8) TENNESSEE TITANS Nick Fairley, DT (Auburn)
    9) DALLAS COWBOYS Prince Amukamara, CB (Nebraska)
    10) WASHINGTON REDSKINS Cam Newton, QB (Auburn)
    11) HOUSTON TEXANS Robert Quinn, DE (North Carolina)
    12) MINNESOTA VIKINGS Ryan Mallett, QB (Arkansas)
    13) DETROIT LIONS Tyron Smith, OT (USC)

AC from BC...they have an underrated LT but their OL in general could use the help...kick Backus inside or something.

they should take Castonzo they probably will take smith. this one depends on Smith pro day.

If they don't take the best oline available they are full retards. Well they already are full retards by not fixing that issue long ago, before their franchise qb got hurt two years in a row.
