    when did the jets draft two defensive ends

    did the jets ever draft two defensive ends in the same draft? I like cameron heyward and lawrence guy.could that happen?

    In 2000 the Jets drafted both Ellis and Abraham in the first.

    that turned out okay.but they were playing a 4-3 defense.what about gastinau and klecko?

    1998: Dorian Boose, Eric Ogbogu
    1989: Jeff Lageman, Dennis Byrd, Ron Stallworth, Marvin Washington
    1981: Tyrone Keys, Kenny Neil
    1979: Mark Gastineau, Marshall Harris (Klecko was 1977, Marty Lyons was 1979 but listed as a DT)

    They tried to run a 3-4 that year under BP but it just didn't work out at all. PB just has an eye for those guys.
