    Rk Head Coaches Tot
    1 Bill Belichick 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 80
    2 Mike Tomlin 5 2 2 6 2 2 3 3 63
    3 Andy Reid 2 5 3 2 4 3 5 2 62
    4 Mike McCarthy 7 3 4 4 3 4 2 4 57
    5 Sean Payton 4 6 6 5 5 5 6 5 46
    6 Tom Coughlin 3 8 5 3 7 6 9 8 39
    7 Rex Ryan 8 4 7 7 6 9 4 10 33
    8 Lovie Smith 6 9 -- 9 8 -- -- 7 16
    9 Mike Smith -- 7 9 -- -- -- 10 6 12
    10 Mike Shanahan 9 -- -- 10 -- 7 7 -- 11
    10 John Harbaugh -- 10 -- -- 9 8 8 9 11

    Harbaugh should be higher.
Don't know why Lovie is on the list.
    Shanahan I don't get either.

If Gruden had a team, he'd get on for what he did with the Raiders.

Gruden makes your list for winning nothing in Oakland, no props for winning a SB in TB? And Shanahan gets no credit for winning 2 SB's?

strange really that the coaches that have won the SB in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 are all rated lower than the cheating dirtbag that hasn't won a single postseason game since defensive wireless signals ended his using his illegal tapes

Yeah, it's real strange that the guy who's won 3 Super Bowls and been to another, and averaged 11.5 wins a season over the past 11 years is ranked #1.

Obviously until he wins a SuperBowl, no one will see him as a top 5 coach, but Rex Ryan, in my opinion, is already the 2nd-best coach in the NFL. Not only is he a players coach (meaning he can lure in loads of talent), but he's the best defensive-minded head coach, and he has been to 2 straight AFCC games in his first 2 years with a QB who has been in the league for 2 years.
