Mailman delivers frisbee. Wife immediately reassesses own life.

There is no doubt in my mind that the mailman banged your wife that day.

    Do you have a dog?

What a great gift - Here's a frisbee. Go play with the dog and leave me alone.

I'm assuming this thread is serious. My first reaction was spam, but the oil thing kind of faked me out.

He does something for his wife and she appreciates his thought. He wins.

Those of you who have wives who wouldn't be impressed because its too trivial- you lose.

    Not totally fair, Timmy.

I think the larf reaction was to the gift coupled with the thread title.

"GREAT" gift for my wife and "Frisbee" don't match up too well.

If I were to buy my significant other a nice cup of Chai tea from the local tea shoppe, that would be thoughtful and she would appreciate it and I might start a thread that said "Decent Gift for My Significant Other", but I wouldn't call it "Great".

Sure, it was nice and thoughtful and no doubt appreciated.

But it also struck some of us as incongruous.

We all buy cute silly little things all the time for our loved ones--rarely are they anything more that cute silly little things--hardly "Great".

I sent one of these FrizbeeGrams at (http://www.sendafrizbee.com) to my wife and she loved it. It was an "I Love You" message printed on a frisbee and the mailman hand delivered it to her. Awesome stuff.

I figure during the season when she doesn't see me as much (not only due to the Jets, but I sell heating oil and the winter is my busy time), this is a great way to keep letting her know I am thinking about her.

Check it out, it could get you some hugs and kisses.
This guys screen name wasn't Sendafrizbee when he originally posted this, was it?

I am pretty sure the wife is so appreciative because the frisbee is not the only thing the mail man personally delivered. If I am out of the house all winter and I give my wife a frisbee to show my love, I fully expect her to bang,,,,,,, well anyone.

No, it was 92ellis92 (you can see in the quotes from that timeframe). I was wondering the same, how did he not get tortured for shamelessly advertising his own oddball business.

    Wonder if it 'took off'?
