    Court orders Mediation in Minnesota

As per the attached story, the players won a small victory when the judge appointed a Magistrate Judge to mediate the dispute with the owners.

    Before people overreact:
    1. You cannot WIN a mediation. For mediation to work, both sides have to agree to a settlement.
    2. Magistrate Judges are real judges. They do not have lifetime appointments.

    good

and the first thing the judge should order a media blackout for the parties involved

    less posturing and more negotiating

This can only be a good thing. This judge, hopefully, will make these sides agree on something so we can get the 2011 season going.
