I understand the purpose of this thread is to show how much we spend on military (and I agree there's GOTTA be areas that can be cut if we really wanted to).
But that doesn't change the fact that we were able to cut $88 million for MORTGAGE COUNSELING. In the words of AI (paraphrasing) "MORTGAGE COUNSELING? I mean, really . . . MORTGAGE COUNSELING???"
There's obviously problems on both sides of the aisle, but this is one more example where taxpayers have to pay BIGTIME $$ because other people aren't responsible enough in their own decision making . . .
