So I can count on your vote for Ron Paul, then
believe it or not I've been a Ron Paul supporter in other threads. He's got a ton of good ideas. including not going to Iraq.

I like your idea on the whole spliff thing bit, but I'm not sure it rises to the level of a constitutional amendment. Think it should be more of a states thing.
Wyoming has 360k people in it's state, California has over 37 million. They both have 2 senators
Which is balanced out by the number of House Representatives each state has.

Hey, I'd like to get rid of Wyoming too. That was the same state that supposedly produced this loser:

    Um, California does. Already.

2 in Senate + Pop. Based Proportion in House = Lots of Power

2 in Senate + Not So Much in House = Less Power

You prefer a strait up proportion-only system then?? Quite a few States would probably have a serious problem with that.

Holy crap, bro. I posted that 5 years ago. Do you have a PK shrine in your unfinished basement? :P:D

    Back OT (sort of)

I would ban this and make it illegal for anyone who talks like this to be let out of their house without an adult escort.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, RICK PERRY, Governor of Texas, under the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Statutes of the State of Texas, do hereby proclaim the three-day period from Friday, April 22, 2011, to Sunday, April 24, 2011, as Days of Prayer for Rain in the State of Texas. I urge Texans of all faiths and traditions to offer prayers on that day for the healing of our land, the rebuilding of our communities and the restoration of our normal way of life.
Fair enough. The founders disagreed with you, obviously since they set up a Representative Republic and not a Democracy, but fair enough.

What purpose would the States play under your system then? Would your new Federal Government abolish States/State Govts as redundant?

And how would you deal with tough issues (for example, Slavery in the way back when) where the majority for a long time prefered the wrong choice?

constitutionally you could never put to vote the liberty and rights of another human. slavery would be abolished and even for issues of today prop 8 would of never been on the ballot and put to a vote

states would deal with the garbage and snow pickup :P

Any other changes you'd like to the system? Now that you'd have total proportional democracy (and assumedly only one House of Congress, as eliminating the reason for the Senate would inherantly eliminate the Senate itself), what else would you like to see changed?

Also, in what would have to be called the 69th Amendment, I would re-institute slavery. Specifically, the sexual slavery of Heather Graham, to me, for life.

^^ 70th amendment - Heather Graham's sexual slavery position shifts from suitable Americans (due to their hapless public debt position) to applicable Australians. Criteria to be decided by myself.

Edit: Graham gets to ride on my bike, behind the sheep. \/ \/

I would make PACs and other lobby groups illegal.
Individuals may donate up to $100 would be ok. But donations by companies, churches or any organizations would be illegal.
