Honestly, I think that at least 4 of those names are worth a trade up

We don't have much to trade unless you're tossing in next year's 1st. Pass.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if the Jets trade up for a guy like Ayers or Reed tomorrow.

Actually, I'm kind of expecting it.

Carter and Moore will be the best pros imo.

you guys need to start adding chris carter to these lists. that guy will be a QB killer. I like the other names you have though. Lots of talent that i didn't expect to make it to us, will.

Akeem Ayers please

I would be elated if the Jets walk away from this draft with a starting 3-4 DE with pass rushing ability and a starting OLB with pass rushing ability

Muhammad Wilkerson - 6'4 315
Akeem Ayers - 6'4 255

I dont care what it takes, make it happen Tanny!! I wouldnt care if these were the only 2 picks in our entire draft, these 2 kids will have good careers.

I have the bad feeling that the Jets FO is gonna hope for more bonehead moves like the ones in the first round, and wait it out till the 3rd round.

Which is not bad, but NOT GOOD either.

You gotta know when to be agressive on the Draft. If all these morons dropped the ball on the first round, don't give them a chance to recoup, make them pay and trade up.

Who care about picks on 2012 when in reality a team is lucky to get 3 good starters, or 1 difference maker in the entire draft. Most players are gonna be middle of the road, so trade up and get STARTERS, get DIFFERENCE MAKERS.

+1

I like the draft philosophy of quality over quantity

Im hoping the Jets trade up tomorrow and select a pass rusher to go with Wilkerson who already improved the pass rush.

Improving the pass rush helps the secondary out tremendously so getting a pass rusher tomorrow would be amazing.

Seriously...picks be damned.

This is a team that is right on the cusp. As close to the Super Bowl as you can get.

Get me someone like Ayers or Reed to pair with Wilkerson and this draft will be a major success in my eyes. We're handicapped as hell in regards to what we can do in FA anyways.

Even when FA is started up again, they are saying that the Final Four rules will still be in effect from last year. Which means we aren't signing anyone unless we let someone of equal value walk.

THIS is the year to add a stud or two to the defense and put this team over the top.

I would die of happiness if we traded up and took Houston or Sheard.

Trade up and draft a legit pass rusher (Ayers , Houston, Reed, Sheard) and even if the only picks in this class are Wilkerson and one of those named above this draft is a success.

Then since the team is handcuffed in FA, just resign our own guys like Holmes, Edwards, Cromartie, Ellis, Pool, etc etc
