    Cotchery's salary

I love Cotchery..But let's face it. He's not a vital piece of the offense. What is he due this year? I can honestly see Cotchery and Brad Smith as goner.

Braylon and Holmes are MUCH more important to this offense. Sign Edwards and Holmes. Joe Mcnight and Kerly can pick up Cotch's production.

My thought as well. Kerley is a natural slot receiver and a returner so I could definitely see us cutting Cotchery as well as not resigning Smith so we can lock up Braylon and Santonio for a half a decade.

    Salary

    2011 $3,791,666
    2012 $3,991,670

    Dead Money if Cut

    2011 $3,333,336
    2012 $1,166,670

... cotch is not going anywhere this year ...

    ... smith is gone ...

... cro probably prioritized over the 2nd wr (most likely edwards)

Cotchery is more critical to this team than you're giving him credit for. He is a beast on third downs. His leadership and clutch-ability can't just be replaced by McKnight and a rookie (so basically two rookies).
